Method :
- Soak urad dal for few hours.
- Add cinnamon, cloves, bayleaf, onions, dudhi
and ginger in 4 times water and pressure cook over 1 whistle and then
cook for 10 minutes.
- Season a pan, splutter jeera at tomatoes and
cook for 5 minutes.
- Add dal cook for 15 minutes add milk and cook
further till thick.
- Garnish with corriander powder and coriander
leaver and serve hot
CAULIFLOWER POTATO SABZI

200 gms.

Cauliflower
|
100 gms.
|
Potatoes
|

To taste
|
Salt, red chili, garam masala, Coriander powder,
Turmeric
|
50 gms.
|
Tomatoe chopped
|

Coriander leaves
|
1 tsp.
|
Ginger julliens
|
Method :
- Cauliflower, potatoes both blanched and drained.
- Season pan and saute ginger julliens with jeera.
- Add cauliflower and potatoes. Saute for 1 minute.
- Add salt, red chili, garam masala, coriander
powder, turmeric. Add water and cook till almost done.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook. Add Coriander
and garam masala. Serve hot.
FRUIT SALAD

200 gms.

Potatoes boiled, Bananas, apples , pineapples
, cherries

1 tbsp.

Sweet Chutney
|

To taste

Salt , Pepper , sugar, black salt, chat masala

Method :
- Mix all together. Add the seasoning to taste.
MEETHI CHATNI
|
50 gms.
|
Mango Powder
|
250 gms.
|
Sugar or Jaggery
|

To taste
|
Salt, black salt, Roasted jeera, ginger powder
|

|
Method :
1. Wash mango powder. Add 1½ cup
water and boil it for 8-10 min.
2. Add sugar/gud and cook till thick.
3. Add the rest of the spices.
FATLESS SHEERA

|
Skimmed milk
|

100 gms.

Kesar. Elaichi powder
|

To Garnish

Almonds
|
1 Cup

Water
|
Method :
- Roast rava till light brown. Add milk, water
and let it cook for sometime. Add sugar and cook further till done.
- Garnish with almonds,elaichi powder, kesar.
Serve while hot. (Eat it steaming hot).
- In case sheera become cold then steam it in
Pressure Cooker covered.
STEAMED BATATAWADA

200 gms.

Potatoes boiled and chopped

Rei, Curry leaves, Garlic chopped, Salt, Ginger,
turmeric

green chilli, coriander leaves, sugar, Lime juice
|
For dipping
|
Besan flour,

1 tbsp.

Cornflour

1/8 tsp.

Soda
|
Method :
- Boil potato. Let them cool for 2-3 hours. Peel
and grate.
- Put the tadka with rai, curry leaves, chopped
garlic, green chilli, turmeric, ginger.
- Add salt, sugar, lime juice,Coriander leaves.
Mix all these to potatoes and form balls.
- Make a paste of besan adding salt and little
cornflour. Add soda for fluffiness. Dip the balls and steam.
- For assembling apply sweet chatni and green
chatni and sandwich the bata wada in pau.
